New House of Kaisers Sneak Peek We are excited to share some new additional benefits and features of the revamped House of Kaisers (HoK) program, including but not limited to: - New HoK branding: Our close partner, Ortho, will support in creating a new brand identity for the HoK program, including a set of stylish military-like badges for community members and HoK Elders, aka our Ambassadors and CMs. - HoK Membership program: this new program will offer a more comprehensive set of benefits like a proper ranking system, a new platform to access multiple company-driven initiatives and community engagement features of the HOK application, DAO voting rank, and even HOK merchandise. - HoK incentive program: Rewards for members will be based on a number of factors, including Membership level, ranking, assets holding and staking, contribution to KardiaChain’s exposure, and the sustainability of our community. A full document of the new HoK program will be publicly available by the end of September 2023.

The eighth HOPR governance experiment has ended after more than six weeks! 🗳️ Huge thanks to the hundreds of community members who contributed to the discussion and vote, maintaining HOPR’s record for one of the highest governance participation rates in crypto 🙏 All thirteen proposals passed, with approval rates ranging from 89% to 99% 🚀 We used pure quadratic voting as always, so these high support levels represent genuine consensus rather than strong-arming from those with large token balances ❌ 🐋 ❌ On average, 220 unique addresses voted on each proposal.As a result of this governance process, the HOPR Community Trust will be registered in the British Virgin Islands 🇻🇬 This trust will be legally bound to follow the governance processes agreed on by the token holders, along with the thresholds and quorums set by the community 🧑‍⚖️👩‍⚖️ All this will take place via our new governance platform, which will provide powerful governance tooling and a solid foundation for compliant decentralized governance ⚖️ Another major benefit of this setup is that as regular token holders you won’t be required to identify yourselves in order to participate in governance: all governance will continue to take place via pseudonyms on the forum and wallet addresses This was a crucial requirement for HOPR as a privacy project, and we’re pleased to have found a setup where this is both possible and compliant The next step will be to nominate an emergency council run by members of the community.
